Gaiden Challenge results
Tatatatatada! I bring you the official results :D

I'm very thankful for the all the particiants for this challenge. I couldn't have dared wished for so many wonderful fics. I wish I could give everyone of you a prize.

As testament to the quality of all the fics, I can tell you that *all* fics recieved votes. So every fic was at least in someone's top 3.
But before I get to the votes, here are the wonderful authors who made this challenge happen:

The Heart Lives by Breaking was writen by Rooney
Fishes in a Pond was writen by Blizzy
Patterns in the Sands of Time was writen by Vamp
You Are my Sunshine was writen by Mouser26
The Art of War was writen by Ohajiki
Vow was writen by TJ Dragonblade
Under was writen by chemcat
The Sun Awoke First was writen by Keidara DeWolfe

Authors are now free to post their fics anyway else. The fics will be uploaded to the archive in their orginal state this saturday.

As for the voting: 17 people voted. Fics voted for in first place were given 3 points, second place 2 points and third place 1 point. Two voters only listed two valid choices. These were given 2 and 1 point.
Voting was *very* tight, with only 1 point between first and second place!

That means Ohajiki wins the copy of Saiyuki Gaiden #3 :D
I will send the banners out by mail as well.

i am not very good at remembering titles.
i was hoping that maybe the next time,
in the post containing
the announcement of the winners - and the author names of their fics -
there would also be a link (again) to the stories

this way, the reader can go back and re-read the stories.
thanks..

I'd rather not, cos that means I would have to disable them again in a few days.
I understand authors would prefer their stories to be read in their original form, rather than the stripped down challenge-version.
I will upload those this Saturday, so I can't provide links to them now. I will post a regular update tomorrow.

Of course, if you can't wait that long, the links to the challenge-versions of all the fics are all still up in the voting post (just a bit below this one). They will work till Saturday when the proper fics are uploaded.
